Lenovo Secures ‘Ambassador’ Status in 2025 Workplace Pride Benchmark

Lenovo Group Limited, a global leader in technology, has been recognized once again as an ‘Ambassador’ in the 2025 Workplace Pride Global Benchmark, affirming its status as a frontrunner in fostering LGBTIQ+ workplace inclusion. This recognition comes as the company reports a significant year-on-year improvement, achieving a score of 87%, which marks a 16.9% increase compared to its 2024 score. The announcement was made on July 30, 2025, highlighting Lenovo's unwavering commitment to creating an inclusive environment for its employees.
The ‘Ambassador’ designation is awarded to organizations that score between 70% and 90% in the benchmark, reflecting a strategic and sustained commitment to inclusivity. Lenovo's impressive scores were particularly notable in the categories of Workplace Awareness, Employee Network, Support and Benefits, and Business and Supplier Engagement. According to Calvin Crosslin, Chief Inclusion Officer at Lenovo, "Employee Resource Groups are instrumental in fostering a sense of community within Lenovo; they also provide invaluable insights that drive our efforts to create an inclusive workplace for everyone. Being awarded ‘Ambassador’ status once again is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our EMEA Pride team."
One of the most significant improvements noted by Lenovo was in the Data Collection category. This progress follows the implementation of Self Identification within the company’s HR system across various markets, as well as the introduction of the company's first Gender Guidelines and a training program for EMEA HR leaders and managers. Andrea Menashe, Vice President of Global Technology Partners and Executive Sponsor for EMEA Pride at Lenovo, stated, "Being recognized again as an ‘Ambassador’ reflects the collective effort of our ERG and Inclusion leaders. Due to the trust and support of EMEA executives and local country management, we have successfully launched several programs that support the well-being and inclusion of our LGBTIQ+ employees."
This recognition is not only a reflection of Lenovo’s internal policies but also aligns with its broader social impact strategy, as outlined in its FY 2024/25 ESG Report. The company is a signatory of the Declaration of Amsterdam, which aims to promote LGBTIQ+ inclusion in the workplace, and continues to perform commendably on the Corporate Equality Index, scoring 95 out of 100 in the current year.
The results of the 2025 Global Benchmark, released by Workplace Pride, indicate a continued global shift towards data-driven strategies aimed at creating sustainable and inclusive workplaces. Lenovo joins a distinguished group of organizations recognized for their long-term commitment to LGBTIQ+ inclusion, exemplifying measurable actions that reflect their dedication to diversity and equality.
As Lenovo continues to advocate for inclusivity, its efforts stand as an exemplar in the tech industry and beyond. The company’s leadership in this area not only underscores its commitment to diversity but also highlights the economic and social benefits of fostering an inclusive corporate culture. As organizations worldwide navigate the complexities of workplace diversity, Lenovo’s model serves as a benchmark in the ongoing journey towards equality and inclusivity in the workplace.
