Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Secures Service Contract for Turkmenistan's Fertilizer Plant

Tokyo, July 17, 2025 — Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (MHI-AP), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI), has successfully signed a three-year service contract with the State Concern "Turkmenhimiya" (TH), the operator of the Garabogazkarbamid Fertilizer Plant, the largest fertilizer operation in Turkmenistan. This contract marks a significant step in enhancing the plant's operational reliability through comprehensive after-sales support from MHI-AP.

Under the terms of the agreement, MHI-AP will provide critical spare parts for essential rotating equipment, including gas turbine generators, heavy-duty compressors, and pumps sourced from MHI Group companies. Additionally, MHI-AP will supply other essential spare parts and consumables necessary for the plant's operations, further ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
