Porsche Italia Unveils Exclusive Special-Edition Models with Ferragamo

Porsche Italia has celebrated its 40th anniversary by unveiling two exceptional special-edition models created in collaboration with the renowned Italian luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo. The models, based on the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS and the Taycan 4S, feature unique design elements that reflect the principles of timeless elegance and meticulous craftsmanship upheld by both brands. This collaboration not only marks a significant milestone for Porsche Italia but also showcases the synergy between automotive excellence and high fashion.
The special-edition models were officially launched on June 19, 2025, and are available exclusively in the Italian market. Both vehicles have been elaborately refined by experts at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, integrating a unique color called 'Blusogno,' inspired by a specific Ferragamo collection. This distinctive shade is complemented by the elegant use of blue Paldao wood décor within the interiors, conveying a sense of understated luxury that resonates with the heritage of both brands.
Pietro Innocenti, CEO of Porsche Italia, expressed the vision behind the collaboration, stating, “Our dream was to create something truly unique that embodies the spirit that has guided us for the past 40 years: Porsche style combined with Italian culture and aesthetics.” He emphasized the shared values of craftsmanship and timeless design that brought both companies together for this project.
Leonardo Ferragamo, Chairman of Salvatore Ferragamo, highlighted the focus on preserving the integrity of both brands, noting, “When Porsche asked Ferragamo to contribute to this anniversary, the main idea was to change as little as possible and focus on refined details. Because Porsche is already perfect.” This sentiment reflects a deep respect for the established legacies of both entities, allowing for an authentic and meaningful collaboration.
The design process involved a close exchange between the teams at Porsche and Ferragamo, with members visiting each other's facilities in Zuffenhausen and Florence. Grant Larson, Director of Special Projects Design at Porsche, described the collaboration as an opportunity to take a minimalist approach to luxury, saying, “Salvatore Ferragamo experimented a lot with unusual natural materials, which encouraged us to take unusual paths in the interior.”
The exterior of the special-edition models features Blusogno paintwork adorned with delicate white fine lines that enhance their aesthetic appeal. These accents are not merely decorative but are designed to convey elegance and dynamism, mirroring the ethos of both brands. The commemorative plaques on the B-pillars, denoting '40' and the years '1985' and '2025,' serve as a tribute to Porsche Italia's four decades of success.
Inside, the models showcase Blusogno leather and unique design details such as a bespoke SportChrono dial that subtly incorporates the colors of the Italian Tricolour. The interiors reflect a harmonious blend of luxury and functionality, with every detail meticulously crafted to enhance the driving experience.
Porsche Italia, established in Padova in 1985, has become a significant player in the European automotive market, delivering 8,223 vehicles in 2024, marking an eight percent increase from the previous year. Meanwhile, the Salvatore Ferragamo Group, founded in 1927, remains a leading name in the luxury sector, known for its innovative and sustainable approaches to fashion.
Through this collaboration, Porsche and Ferragamo have not only celebrated their rich histories but have also set a precedent for future partnerships that bridge the realms of automotive engineering and luxury fashion. The limited-edition models are expected to be highly sought after, further solidifying the reputations of both brands as leaders in their respective industries.
