2025 Golden Melody Awards: Celebrating Taiwan's Musical Excellence

Taipei, Taiwan – The 36th Golden Melody Awards (GMA) is set to commence at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Taipei Arena, honoring outstanding achievements in the local music industry. Additionally, the album "AAA" by Taiwanese indie band Sunset Rollercoaster, in collaboration with South Korean band Hyukoh, stands out with seven nominations, making it the most recognized work of the year. The awards will also honor composer-producer Weng Xiao-liang and the late Taiwanese singer Ma Chao-chun with a special contribution award, while the jury award will be posthumously presented to the late Hong Kong-American singer Khalil Fong for his album "The Dreamer."

This year's ceremony will be broadcast live by Taiwan Television Enterprise (TTV) and streamed on platforms such as Line Today and Line Music.
