Alex Cooper Alleges Sexual Harassment by Former Soccer Coach Nancy Feldman

In a striking revelation, Alex Cooper, the host of the popular podcast "Call Her Daddy," has accused her former soccer coach, Nancy Feldman, of sexual harassment during her time at Boston University. Cooper, who played collegiate soccer at Boston University from 2013 to 2015, described a series of uncomfortable encounters with Feldman, stating that the harassment began during her sophomore year. According to Cooper, Feldman fixated on her uniquely compared to other teammates, leading to a series of inappropriate comments and requests. "It was all based on her wanting to know who I was dating, her making comments about my body, and her always wanting to be alone with me," Cooper recalled in the documentary.

One particularly disturbing incident involved Feldman allegedly placing a hand on Cooper's thigh and inquiring about her sex life. "It was this psychotic game of, 'You want to play? Tell me about your sex life,'" Cooper recounted, adding that Feldman often insisted on driving her to classes alone, which added to her discomfort.

In her documentary, Cooper expressed her fear and the sense of hopelessness she experienced during that time, stating, "When I look back at that time in my life, I was scared, hopeless. I had no resources and no options." She felt unable to come forward with her allegations while on a full-tuition scholarship, fearing the repercussions it might have on her academic career. After confiding in her parents, they sought legal counsel, but were advised that pursuing a case could result in a lengthy and arduous process.

Despite raising her concerns with Boston University athletics officials, Cooper claims that no action was taken against Feldman, who was not fired until her retirement in 2022. While Cooper chose not to participate in soccer during her senior year, she retained her scholarship and made a return visit to the campus while filming her documentary. This visit proved emotional for Cooper, who reflected on the losses she endured during her time there.

As of now, ABC News has reached out to both Nancy Feldman and Boston University for comments but has not yet received any responses. The allegations raised by Cooper contribute to the ongoing conversation surrounding sexual harassment in sports and academia, highlighting the need for systemic changes to protect individuals in similar situations.
