The K's Announce New Album 'Pretty on the Internet' and U.S. Tour

The K's, an indie rock band hailing from Earlestown, England, are set to release their highly anticipated second album, 'Pretty on the Internet,' on June 27, 2025. Following their successful debut album 'I Wonder If the World Knows,' which reached number three on the U.K. albums chart, the band aims to expand their reach further into the American music scene after making their debut at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas.
Formed in 2017, The K's have quickly escalated from performing in small clubs to garnering significant attention in the indie music circuit. Their breakout single, 'Sarajevo,' released in 2020, marked the beginning of their rise, achieving over 100,000 streams in just two weeks, as noted by Jamie Boyle, the band's lead singer and primary songwriter. Boyle recalls the impact of their early performances, stating, "All the energy at our shows is really a testament to years of doing smaller stages in the pubs and the clubs."
This new record, produced by Jim Lowe, features a more mature sound characterized by personal lyrical themes. Boyle explains that while the previous album centered around youthful exuberance, 'Pretty on the Internet' delves deeper into more profound topics, including mental health struggles and mortality. This artistic evolution has been crucial for the band, providing a more authentic connection with their audience.
In the wake of their SXSW performance, which marked a significant milestone for the band, The K's have signed with United Talent Agency to facilitate their upcoming U.S. tour. Boyle expressed excitement about the prospect of touring in America, saying, "We’ve got a full tour plan, so it’s like we’ve just dipped our toe in at the minute and we’re really excited to properly get into it."
The K's have been recognized for their energetic live performances, which remain a core part of their identity. The band thrives on the connection forged with fans during concerts, a sentiment echoed by lead guitarist Ryan Breslin, who states, "That’s the way that we sort of honed our craft, playing live, and that feeds into the songs."
As they prepare for their second album and the accompanying tour, The K's remain grounded, reflecting on their journey so far. Boyle noted, "I’d say make all the same mistakes and do exactly how we’ve done it. We’ve definitely gone the scenic route." This approach has not only shaped their music but also their outlook on their burgeoning career in the music industry.
The K's are set to take on America with confidence, aiming to bring their infectious energy and relatable music to a wider audience. With their new album scheduled for release soon, fans can expect a blend of familiar energetic rock infused with deeper, more introspective themes, marking a significant chapter in the band’s evolving narrative.
