TV9 Network and All Out Launch Nationwide Dengue Awareness Campaign

On June 16, 2025, coinciding with World Dengue Day, TV9 Network and All Out, in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), inaugurated a nationwide public awareness initiative titled "Saath Ladenge Dengue Se." This campaign aims to address the increasing threat of dengue fever in India by equipping citizens with essential knowledge and strategies to combat the disease.
The initiative emerges in response to a significant spike in dengue cases observed across India, which has raised alarm among health professionals and government officials alike. According to the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), the country has reported over 100,000 dengue cases in 2025 alone, with fatalities reaching alarming levels. The urgency of this campaign lies not only in raising awareness but also in fostering proactive community engagement to combat mosquito-borne diseases effectively.
Amit Tripathi, Chief Revenue Officer of TV9 Network, emphasized the role of media in driving social change. He stated, "At TV9 Network, we believe in using the power of media to drive meaningful change. Through our partnership with All Out, we are not just broadcasting a campaign; we are enabling a nationwide movement to fight Dengue with knowledge, urgency, and unity."
Raktim Das, Chief Growth Officer at TV9 Network, echoed this sentiment, noting that awareness is the first step toward prevention. "With 'Saath Ladenge Dengue Se, an All Out initiative,' we are blending credible medical insight with high-impact storytelling to empower families across India. This campaign exemplifies how purpose-driven content can fuel public health transformation."
Ratanjit Das, Managing Director and CEO of Brillon Consumer Products, which owns All Out, highlighted the critical nature of public awareness regarding vector-borne diseases. He remarked, "Awareness on vector-borne diseases is still very low in India today. With Dengue on the rise, we felt the need to increase our efforts on educating consumers and work with credible partners to create mass awareness."
The campaign features a multi-faceted approach to outreach, including:
1. **Pan-India Television Coverage**: The initiative will be broadcast across six regional TV9 Network channels, including TV9 Bharatvarsh (Hindi), TV9 Kannada, TV9 Telugu, TV9 Marathi, TV9 Bangla, and TV9 Gujarati. This strategy aims to penetrate diverse linguistic and demographic audiences, ensuring the message reaches both urban and rural households.
2. **Anchor-Led Segments**: Short, impactful video capsules featuring trusted TV9 news anchors will deliver easy-to-understand information about dengue symptoms, causes, and prevention methods. These vignettes are designed to resonate with everyday families and promote behavioral change.
3. **Medical Guidance and Myth-Busting**: The campaign includes "Doctor Bytes," which are concise video segments featuring qualified medical experts from the IMA. These segments aim to dispel myths and provide accurate medical guidance regarding dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases.
4. **National-Level Panel Discussion**: A special televised panel discussion on TV9 Bharatvarsh will gather renowned doctors and public health experts to discuss the broader implications of dengue, the importance of community participation, and the need for collaborative efforts among families, local administrations, and healthcare institutions.
5. **Digital Amplification**: Beyond television, the campaign will utilize the extensive digital ecosystem of TV9 Network, including websites and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Interactive content and informative articles aim to engage a younger, tech-savvy audience, ensuring the message of dengue prevention is widely disseminated.
The "Saath Ladenge Dengue Se" campaign represents a crucial step in combating dengue in India, as it calls on every citizen to join the movement against this potentially deadly disease. By promoting awareness and preventive measures, the initiative seeks to foster a collective commitment to public health and safety. The campaign serves as a reminder that prevention starts with awareness, and protection begins at home.
