HP Unveils Affordable AI Laptop Series in India: OmniBook 5 and 3

On July 7, 2025, HP Inc. launched its latest series of AI-powered laptops, the OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 3, targeting students, professionals, and everyday users in India. These laptops are equipped with state-of-the-art Neural Processing Units (NPU) capable of executing between 45 to 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS), making them suitable for a variety of computational tasks.

The OmniBook 5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1-26-100 processor, which supports a maximum of 45 TOPS and boasts an impressive battery life of up to 34 hours. This model features a 14-inch 2K OLED display, enhancing the visual experience for users. HP has integrated advanced features such as Windows Studio Effects for auto-framing and HP Audio Boost 2.0, which enhances low-frequency sounds using AI technology.

In contrast, the OmniBook 3 is available in both 14-inch and 15.6-inch sizes and is driven by the AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors, achieving up to 50 TOPS. This model also includes Windows Studio Effects, a HP True Vision camera, dual microphones, and AI noise reduction capabilities. The OmniBook 3 series is designed with connectivity in mind, featuring multiple USB ports including one full-function USB Type-C, two USB Type-A, and one HDMI port.

Pricing for the OmniBook 5 starts at ₹75,999, while the OmniBook 3 begins at ₹69,999. Both models are available in Glacier Silver at HP Online Stores and various offline retail outlets throughout India.
