According to Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox, the showcase highlighted Microsoft’s commitment to delivering diverse gaming experiences. "Our goal is to cater to a wide range of audiences by providing innovative and engaging content that resonates with gamers globally," Spencer stated in a press release following the event.

The showcase revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is currently in development by Treyarch and Raven Software. Set in the year 2035, the game will feature returning protagonist David Mason, a character from Black Ops 2. The game is expected to include a co-op campaign, alongside traditional multiplayer and zombie modes. A full reveal is set for later this summer, building anticipation among fans.

In a significant re-entry into the franchise, Atlus announced Persona 4 Revival, a remake aimed at modernizing the beloved classic. The game will see updated visuals and gameplay enhancements while returning players to Inaba, a rural Japanese town haunted by mysterious murders. The revival is poised to attract both returning fans and new players, launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S with Day One availability on Game Pass.

Moreover, Obsidian Entertainment presented Grounded 2, a sequel to its 2022 title, Grounded. Grounded 2 is set for Early Access on July 29, 2025, promising a larger and more intricate gaming experience.

Game Freak, known for their Pokémon titles, also surprised attendees with their new action-RPG, Beast of Reincarnation, which transports players to a post-apocalyptic Japan. Scheduled for release next year, it will be available on PC and Xbox Series X/S, once again on Game Pass.
