TECNO Launches Pova 7 5G Series in India Featuring Ella AI Chatbot

TECNO Mobile, a prominent Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has officially launched its latest series of smartphones, the TECNO Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Pro 5G, in India on July 10, 2025. Both devices are priced under ₹20,000 and are designed to cater to the growing demand for affordable 5G smartphones in the Indian market. The Pova 7 5G series operates on the Android 15-based HiOS 5 interface and is equipped with the innovative Ella AI chatbot, allowing users to engage with the device in multiple Indian languages.

The TECNO Pova 7 5G features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 900 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM). Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone boasts a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, while a 13MP front camera caters to selfie enthusiasts. This device also features Corning's Gorilla Glass 7i for enhanced durability and is rated IP64 for water and splash resistance. On the camera front, the Pova 7 Pro is equipped with a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, capable of recording 4K video at 30fps. The 13MP front camera similarly supports 4K video recording. Like its counterpart, the Pova 7 Pro is powered by a 6,000mAh battery, with support for both 45W and 30W wired fast charging options.

The pricing for the TECNO Pova 7 series is competitive, with the Pova 7 5G priced at ₹14,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and ₹15,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. In comparison, the Pova 7 Pro is available at ₹18,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model, and ₹19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. Consumers can purchase these smartphones through Flipkart starting July 10, 2025.
