One Stop Named Official Convenience Store for Women's Rugby World Cup 2025

World Rugby has officially designated One Stop, one of the UK's leading convenience retailers, as the Official Convenience Store for the Women's Rugby World Cup 2025. This announcement comes ahead of what is anticipated to be the largest celebration of women's rugby in history, with the tournament set to take place from August 22 to September 27, 2025, across eight prominent cities in England.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in promoting women's sports, as it aims to enhance access to tournament merchandise and engagement opportunities for fans. According to Sarah Massey, Managing Director of the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, "We are delighted to be working with One Stop to deliver our range of official Women’s Rugby World Cup merchandise. With a national footprint and local reach, One Stop is uniquely positioned to connect fans across England to the excitement of the tournament."

Starting July 22, 2025, merchandise will be available in over 1,000 One Stop stores nationwide, supporting an eight-week promotional campaign that will feature collaborations with other official partners including Asahi, Volvic, and Unilever. Customers will have the opportunity to win match tickets and stadium tours, making One Stop a central hub for fans preparing for the event.

The Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 is already experiencing unprecedented demand, with over 330,000 tickets sold prior to the tournament. Ticket prices range from £5 for children to £10 for adults, encouraging families to attend and experience the excitement of women’s rugby. Notably, this edition of the World Cup is heralded as the most accessible and inclusive yet, according to Corie Eldred, Head of Retail Operations at One Stop. Eldred stated, "We’re proud to partner with Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 and play a role in bringing the tournament to communities across the UK."

The tournament will feature 16 of the world’s top teams, competing in matches held in historically significant locations throughout England. This event is not only crucial for the sport but also aims to advance narratives surrounding gender equity and the empowerment of women in sports.

One Stop, which operates over 1,000 stores throughout Great Britain and employs more than 10,500 individuals, has positioned itself as a key player in the convenience retail sector since its franchise model launch in 2014. The stores provide a wide range of products, including fresh food, household essentials, and snacks, catering to the needs of local communities.

The Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 is expected to be a transformative event, not only for the sport but also for societal perceptions of women in athletics. As the tournament approaches, the collaboration between One Stop and World Rugby represents a significant step toward elevating women's sports and fostering a new generation of rugby enthusiasts.
