Polish Young Drivers Shine at ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy in 2025

In an exhilarating display of talent and determination, young Polish drivers showcased their skills during the third round of the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy at the ORLEN OIL 81st Rally Poland held on June 18, 2025. Leading the charge was Tymek Abramowski, who clinched the category win, while fellow competitors Adrian Rzeźnik and Adrian Łabuda also made notable impressions despite facing challenges.
The rally took place in the picturesque Masuria region, known as the 'Land of a Thousand Lakes,' which provided a stunning backdrop for the competition. Abramowski's victory was a highlight, marking a significant milestone in his burgeoning motorsport career. His success in the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy not only contributes to his personal accolades but also highlights the potential of Polish drivers in the international rally scene. According to the official ERC reports, Abramowski's win was accompanied by prizes including 12 new Pirelli tires and a voucher for 150 liters of Warter RALLY EVO2 fuel.
Adrian Łabuda, an 18-year-old ex-kart racer, delivered a commendable performance during his debut on gravel and at the international level. "The stages were pretty tough, but we managed to make it to the end," said Łabuda. He currently ranks second in the Polish championship standings, third in the Fiesta Trophy, and fourth in the ERC, reflecting a promising future ahead in rallying.
Conversely, Adrian Rzeźnik faced a series of setbacks during the rally. Despite demonstrating strong performance by leading the ERC3 and ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy times at the Mikołajki Arena super special stage, Rzeźnik encountered mechanical difficulties that thwarted his chances for a better finish. After suffering a double tire deflation, he was forced to retire. Upon restarting the next day with renewed vigor, he recorded the second-best time on one stage before a damaged wishbone and a broken wheel ultimately led to his exit. Rzeźnik expressed his disappointment, stating, "Rally Poland definitely did not go our way... It is great to compete on gravel under the flags of Poland, and we hope to come back stronger next year."
Tristan Charpentier from France managed to secure second place in the class, maintaining his lead in the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy standings with a seven-point advantage over Abramowski and an eleven-point lead over Igor Widłak. The competition is intense, as the winner of the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy will receive a Ford Fiesta Rally2 prize drive at the upcoming JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion.
The ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy continues to be a platform for emerging talents in motorsport and is supported by five FIA ERC3 Championship rounds in 2025. The next round will take place at the Rally di Roma Capitale from July 4-6, 2025. This series not only promotes young drivers but also emphasizes the importance of rallying as a sport in Poland, where enthusiasm for motorsports continues to grow.
As the young talents of Poland demonstrate remarkable resilience and skill, the future of rally driving in the nation looks promising. The achievements of Abramowski, Rzeźnik, and Łabuda serve as a testament to their dedication and the potential that lies ahead for Polish motorsport on the international stage.
