Syntiant Showcases Innovative Edge AI Solutions at Sensors Converge 2025

IRVINE, Calif., June 23, 2025 — Syntiant Corp., a leader in low-power edge AI technology, will present its latest advancements in intelligent sensor and AI-enabled technologies at the Sensors Converge 2025 conference, scheduled for June 24-26 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Attendees can visit Booth #923 to experience Syntiant's cutting-edge demonstrations that highlight innovations in audio and environmental sensing capabilities.

The highlight of Syntiant's showcase will be its new SPV Digital microphone, which promises high-quality audio capture with a compact design previously limited to analog microphones. This innovation is expected to benefit consumer electronics brands by allowing them to integrate more advanced features into devices such as wearables, hearables, and smart glasses. The microphone operates at 1.2V I/O, catering to the growing demand for battery-efficient digital audio architectures, thereby enhancing system performance.

In addition to the SPV Digital microphone, Syntiant will unveil its AI-powered Environmental Noise Cancellation (AI-ENC) technology. Built on the company's ultra-low-power Neural Decision Processors, this system offers enhanced voice clarity and robust noise suppression, making it ideal for use in various devices, including true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, smart glasses, headsets, and smart home products like video doorbells. The AI-ENC will be demonstrated on an NDP120 evaluation kit alongside a TWS prototype, showcasing its practical applications in real-world settings.

Another key feature of Syntiant's presentation will be its ultra-low-power presence detection solution, designed to operate effectively in smart home, automotive, and commercial environments. This system utilizes machine learning models and sensors to detect human presence in real-time while consuming less than 10 mW of power. Upon detection, it activates high-resolution cameras, ensuring energy efficiency while improving incident capture capabilities.

Kurt Busch, CEO of Syntiant, emphasized the company's commitment to innovation, stating, "We’re redefining what a microphone can do by embedding AI directly into the signal chain. Our ultra-small, ultra-efficient sensor solutions aren’t just capturing sound; they’re enabling new classes of intelligent devices that can listen, see, feel, respond, and adapt in real-time, all without a cloud-connection and at a fraction of the power."

In addition to its product demonstrations, Busch will participate in an industry panel titled "From tinyML to the Edge of AI: Connecting AI to the Real World," scheduled for June 26 at 1 p.m. This panel will address advancements in on-device learning, edge computing architectures, and the practical deployment of AI technologies on resource-constrained devices.

Sensors Converge, a pivotal event for the design engineering community, aims to foster networking and knowledge sharing among professionals in the sensors industry. Syntiant's participation underscores the growing importance of edge AI technology in modern applications, reflecting the industry's shift towards more efficient and intelligent solutions.

Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Irvine, California, Syntiant has established itself as a pioneer in edge AI deployment, with over 100 million purpose-built silicon and machine learning models deployed globally. The company’s solutions are being utilized across various sectors, including consumer electronics and industrial applications, enabling advanced capabilities in audio, sensor, and vision processing.
