Escalating Violence: Thai-Cambodian Border Clashes Claim 33 Lives

Samraong, Cambodia – As the armed conflict between Thailand and Cambodia enters its third day, the death toll has surged to 33, marking one of the bloodiest periods of violence between the neighboring countries in years. The situation escalated rapidly, prompting the United Nations Security Council to convene an emergency meeting on July 25 to address the crisis. "We have deployed naval forces alongside our army to counter the Cambodian attacks effectively," stated General Sakol Srisuwan, spokesperson for the Thai Defence Ministry, in an official briefing on July 26.
