AC/DC Announces 'POWER UP' Tour in Australia for 2025

Legendary rock band AC/DC has officially announced their highly anticipated return to Australia with the 'POWER UP' stadium tour scheduled for November and December 2025. This marks the band's first live performances in Australia in a decade, following successful tours in Europe and North America. The tour will commence on November 12 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, followed by performances in Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane, concluding on December 14 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

The 'POWER UP' tour is named after AC/DC's 2020 chart-topping album, which has resonated with fans globally. According to Christo Van Egmond, CEO of TEG, the tour has already sold over 2 million tickets across its initial 24 shows in Europe and 10 sold-out performances in North America. This demonstrates the band's enduring appeal and the high demand for live rock music experiences.

Amyl and the Sniffers, a rising punk rock band from Australia, will join AC/DC as special guests for all shows. Their inclusion promises to enhance the concert experience, bringing a fresh energy to the legacy of AC/DC's rock anthems.

AC/DC, formed in Sydney in 1973, has solidified its status as a global rock icon. The last time AC/DC toured Australia was in 2015 during their 'Rock or Bust' tour, which saw over 520,000 tickets sold across 11 dates, including additional shows in New Zealand.
