Live at the Marquee 2025: Essential Information on Performers and Logistics

The highly anticipated Live at the Marquee concert series is set to commence this week in Cork, Ireland, running from June 25 to July 27, 2025. This year, the venue is located at the former Tedcastle's Yard on Centre Park Road, following a successful relocation from its previous site. The series promises a diverse lineup of artists, ensuring a vibrant cultural atmosphere for attendees.

The opening act of the concert series will be Picture This, performing on June 25 and 26, 2025, with the first night already sold out. Other notable performances include The Coronas on June 27, Christy Moore on June 28, and Joe Bonamassa, who will honor the legendary Rory Gallagher during his three-night stint from July 1 to 3, 2025. Other prominent acts scheduled to appear include Dara O’Briain, Tommy Tiernan, and Michael McIntyre, with many shows already sold out, indicating high demand for the event.

According to the event organizers, gates will open at 6:30 PM on concert nights, with the main acts typically taking the stage between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM. Performances are generally expected to conclude by 10:30 PM. With a capacity of approximately 300 parking spaces available for booking through Ticketmaster, attendees are encouraged to reserve their spots in advance, especially given the sold-out status of many shows. Parking fees have increased from €9 to €12 per vehicle, plus a €2.20 service fee.

For those traveling to the venue, it is accessible by various means. A seven-minute drive from Cork city center is recommended for those with vehicles, while a 30-minute walk from the city center or a 15-minute walk from Ballintemple is also feasible. The entrance to the parking area is located just beyond the pedestrian entrance on Centre Park Road.

In terms of amenities, Live at the Marquee has adopted a cashless payment system for food and drinks, which include a range of options from onsite food vans to nearby eateries such as the Marina Market and Black Market. Beer prices are set at €7 for a pint of Guinness and €6.50 for zero-alcohol options, with glasses priced at €4.

The Marquee's management emphasizes the importance of pre-purchasing parking and concert tickets to avoid any disappointments during this popular summer event. As construction continues at the old site, which is set to accommodate over 1,000 new apartments, the new location promises to enhance the concert-goers’ experience, integrating modern facilities within a vibrant cultural setting.

As the event unfolds, it will undoubtedly contribute to Cork's reputation as a key destination for live music and cultural events, driving economic benefits for local businesses and enriching the community's cultural landscape.
