MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed on Sunday that Leah Mosquera, a Filipina caregiver who sustained severe injuries during a missile attack in Rehovot, Israel, has passed away. The attack occurred on June 15, amid escalating tensions in the region.

In an official statement, the DFA expressed its deepest condolences to Mosquera's family and loved ones, noting that her passing was communicated by her sister, who is also an overseas Filipino worker in Israel.
