Nissan Welcomes Abbi Pulling and Gabriele Minì for Berlin Formula E Test

Nissan Formula E Team has announced the return of drivers Abbi Pulling and Gabriele Minì for the upcoming Rookie Test scheduled for July 14, 2025, at the Tempelhof Airport Circuit in Berlin. This marks a significant opportunity for both drivers to showcase their skills with the Nissan e-4ORCE 05, a vehicle designed for optimal performance in the competitive environment of Formula E.

Pulling, who recently clinched the title of reigning F1 Academy champion, expressed her enthusiasm for this opportunity, stating, "I’m really excited to get out on track and to work with the team again. I’ve driven street circuits before but never in such a high-powered car, so it will be an amazing opportunity." Her previous experience includes a strong fifth-place finish in the GB3 Championship at Silverstone, highlighting her upward trajectory in motorsport.

Minì, on the other hand, will be participating in his third outing with Nissan, thanks to the team's collaboration with Alpine Racing. The Italian driver previously achieved a top-10 finish in last year’s Berlin Rookie Test and demonstrated impressive performance during the FP0 session in Jeddah, finishing second. "It’s great to be back; I’ve enjoyed my two previous outings with the team, so I’m delighted to work with them again," Minì remarked, emphasizing his intent to combine his past experiences to enhance his performance in this test.

Tommaso Volpe, Managing Director and Team Principal of Nissan, expressed satisfaction with the return of both drivers. He stated, "We’re very happy to have Abbi and Gabriele with us for the Berlin rookie test this year. They’re both very talented drivers, and for us, it is great to have continuity with our rookies, so they can keep developing at the same time as doing a better job for the team every time."

The upcoming test consists of two sessions on the 2.343-kilometre circuit, featuring 15 corners and running anti-clockwise. This setting is expected to provide both drivers with a unique platform to refine their skills and contribute to Nissan's development efforts in the rapidly evolving landscape of electric racing.

In summary, Pulling and Minì's participation in the Berlin Rookie Test underscores Nissan's commitment to nurturing talent in electric motorsport. As both drivers prepare for this critical event, their performances will be closely watched by fans and industry stakeholders alike, looking to gauge the future potential of Nissan in the Formula E arena. The collaboration with Alpine Racing further enhances the strategic partnerships that Nissan is pursuing to ensure competitive performance in upcoming races.
