UFC Partners with Hayabusa as Official Outfitter for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

On June 24, 2025, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), recognized as the leading organization in mixed martial arts, announced a significant partnership with Hayabusa, a global frontrunner in combat sports equipment and technical fight apparel. This collaboration designates Hayabusa as the Official Outfitter for UFC Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), a new premier live event series dedicated to the martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

The partnership between UFC and Hayabusa aims to innovate the design and production of competition outfitting that will be utilized at all UFC BJJ events, starting with the inaugural event, UFC Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 1, slated for June 25, 2025. This event will be streamed live exclusively on UFC Fight Pass, the organization's online platform for combat sports content.

This collaboration extends beyond mere outfitting; it encompasses the provision of custom apparel for athletes and coaches participating in the upcoming reality series, UFC Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: Road to the Title. Launched on June 16, this series has rapidly gained traction, amassing over 11 million views across UFC’s social media platforms and leading to the establishment of @UFCBJJ as the fastest-growing official Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu account, with a remarkable 200,000 followers in less than three weeks.

Dana White, the CEO and President of UFC, expressed enthusiasm regarding the partnership, stating, "We launched this brand less than three weeks ago, and it’s incredible how quickly UFC BJJ has taken off. I want to thank Hayabusa for their support and their belief in this brand. We’re going to do amazing things together to build this BAD ASS sport."

Ken Clement, CEO of Hayabusa, mirrored White's sentiments, emphasizing the historical significance of this partnership. "This marks a historic new chapter for Jiu-Jitsu. This is more than a spotlight showcasing the sport; it’s about unlocking its full potential for practitioners and fans around the world," he said. Clement highlighted Jiu-Jitsu's transformative values, asserting, "Jiu-Jitsu teaches resilience, discipline, and connection, and we believe it holds transformative value for everyone. Hayabusa is honored to stand alongside the UFC in elevating Jiu-Jitsu, its reach, impact, and its future."

The collaboration is set to expand into retail, with plans for Hayabusa-designed UFC Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu apparel to be available for purchase globally. The product line, which will launch in July, will include rash guards, shorts, and spats, with pre-sales already available on hayabusafight.com. Additional items, such as t-shirts, gis, hoodies, and joggers, are set to follow in the subsequent months.

As this partnership unfolds, it not only promises to enhance the visibility and appeal of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but also aims to foster a broader community around the sport, potentially attracting new practitioners and fans. This endeavor underscores the growing recognition of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu within the realm of mixed martial arts, reflecting its increasing popularity and significance in competitive sports culture.
