Anna Chua-Norbert Makes History at Women Leading Change Awards 2025

Anna Chua-Norbert, Group Chief Culture Officer of DDB Group Philippines, made history by being awarded the 'Vision Leader' title at the Campaign Asia-Pacific's Women Leading Change Awards (WLCA) 2025, held in Singapore. This accolade marks a significant milestone as she becomes the first Filipina to receive this honor. The awards ceremony, which took place on June 10, 2025, celebrates exceptional women leaders who are driving change in their respective fields.
Chua-Norbert’s recognition is rooted in her innovative approach to integrating cultural awareness, sustainability, and kindness into business practices. As the Managing Director of Bent and Buzz, her content and events agency, she has pioneered a 'Business of Kindness' model that aims to uplift underserved communities while promoting economic growth. 'Business of kindness leads to growth that can be measured not only in revenue, but in protection, dignity, impact, and the lives we choose to uplift,' she stated during the awards ceremony.
Under her leadership, Bent and Buzz has engaged 350 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across 17 regions in the Philippines, directly benefiting over 3,500 individuals. This initiative exemplifies her commitment to combining social responsibility with business success, contributing to double-digit profit growth over the past five years.
In addition to her business achievements, Chua-Norbert is an advocate against online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC). Her advocacy efforts have resulted in short films recognized by the Philippine Commission on Women, earning accolades from the Office of the President and a Gold award at Spikes Asia.
DDB Group Philippines also received a Bronze award at the WLCA 2025 for being the 'Best Company for Women,' which underscores its commitment to promoting gender equality, safe work environments, and creative sustainability within the industry.
Chua-Norbert expressed pride in representing not only DDB and Bent & Buzz but also women across Asia who are reshaping leadership narratives. 'We are celebrating this not just as a company milestone, but as a proud moment for the nation,' she remarked.
The Women Leading Change Awards is an important platform that highlights the achievements of women in leadership roles across various sectors.
