RugbyPass TV Announces Live Broadcasts for England Matches in 2025

England Rugby and World Rugby have officially announced that RugbyPass TV will serve as the exclusive broadcast platform for supporters wishing to view live coverage of two significant matches: the England XV versus France XV at Allianz Stadium on June 21, 2025, and the senior men’s test match against the USA in Washington, D.C., on July 19, 2025. The matches will be freely accessible via RugbyPass TV's website and mobile application, expanding the reach of rugby to a wider audience.

The decision to broadcast these matches comes on the heels of the successful live coverage of England’s game against Japan, which garnered more than 500,000 unique views last year, according to England Rugby. This initiative reflects World Rugby’s commitment to enhancing global viewership and engagement ahead of the Rugby World Cups scheduled for 2031 and 2033 in the USA.

Ewan Turney, Marketing Director at England Rugby, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with World Rugby, stating, “It’s great to extend our established partnership with World Rugby to offer all supporters in the UK and Ireland more free-to-air coverage via RugbyPass TV. We know that younger audiences are gravitating towards streaming platforms, with fans watching matches across a variety of devices. These two matches are not only a key part of our summer series but also play an important role in the team’s development cycle as we build towards the next Rugby World Cup.”

The matches will be available globally, except in France for the England versus France match and in the USA for the match against the USA, which will be broadcast domestically by CBS Sports. Dom Hayes, World Rugby's Director of Media and USA Commercial, emphasized that this collaboration is pivotal in achieving their goal of growing the sport’s audience in key markets, particularly the United States.

In addition to the scheduled matches, RugbyPass TV will also provide coverage for various upcoming rugby events, including the Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2025 and the Pacific Nations Cup. The streaming service aims to deliver world-class rugby content and enhance fan engagement through innovative programming.

Fans can access RugbyPass TV by visiting the website or downloading the app available for iOS and Android. The platform supports HD streaming capabilities and offers full match replays about an hour after the conclusion of games.

As the sport continues to develop in the USA and beyond, rugby stakeholders are optimistic that initiatives like these will attract more fans and enhance the overall experience of rugby viewing. With the growing interest in rugby, particularly among younger demographics, the collaboration between England Rugby and World Rugby may prove crucial in shaping the future of the sport internationally.
